Management

Legal department (labour law)
Legal advisor in North West (permanent position)
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Chairperson at disciplinary hearings
- Drafting of labour law documentation (charge sheets, warnings, CCMA applications, etc.)
- Assist members with retrenchments
- Assist members with CCMA matters (conciliation and arbitration)
- Assist members with protocol regarding strikes
- Trade union negotiations
- Deal with general labour law enquiries
- Administrative tasks linked to the above
- Marketing (recruiting new members, radio interviews, writing of articles for various publications)
- Complaint management and resolution
- Writing reports for management/members
- Training for Junior Legal Advisors
- Research sharing with the team
*training will be provided for the successful candidate, but knowledge of the above is advantageous.
Requirements for the position:
- LLB/Bcom Law/HR-/IR qualification
- Labour law background advantageous
- Computer literate
- Own reliable vehicle
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
Remuneration package:
- R18 500.00 per month
- Medical subsidy
